& REPAIR
At Twain Harte Bike Shop, we provide reliable, high-quality bike repair services to keep you riding smoothly on every trail and road. Whether your bike needs a quick tune-up, brake adjustment, gear tuning, or a full overhaul, our experienced mechanics handle each job with care and precision.
Basic Tune-Up
$65
The basic tune-up is our entry-level service tune-up and is the most common general bicycle maintenance and servicing that covers a broad range of safety inspections, adjustments, and cleaning. We will wash your bicycle and all the parts, as well as adjust the derailleurs and true both front and rear wheels. This service also covers the labor for chain replacements as well as new tires and tubes.
Comprehensive Tune
$150
The Comprehensive Tune is a level above service and includes the same services as the Basic Tune-up, with an additional step of removing the drivetrain components and thoroughly washing and cleaning the parts, reinstalling them and fully adjusting until in perfect working order. Brakes are adjusted as needed. Disc brakes are bled or cable replacements for standard cable brakes. The whole bike is washed and adjusted to proper working order.
Complete Overhaul
$250
This is our most extensive service package that includes all the same features as our basic and comprehensive tune-up services, but taking it further. We will remove all the components on the bicycle and properly wash and clean them prior to reinstalling them after we wash the frame and inspect for any failures, while also checking frame alignment.
- Additional charge for suspension overhauls is quoted at the time of inspection from our mechanics.
- Same price for road and mountain bikes.

You can hop on your bike and ride straight out of Twain Harte, connecting to routes that take you all the way up toward Lyons Dam and beyond. From the smooth, scenic rail-grade riding of the Sugar Pine and ditch trails to the more technical terrain around Ridge Trail, Hammill Canyon, Eagle Peak, and Herring Creek, there’s something for every skill level.
